We began this special day by finding Justin's easter basket at the front door and then Winston had to take something from my easter basket, so he wouldn't feel left out. We then went to church, came home and had lunch with the Colliers, and then went over to the Jackson's later in the day. (We missed our families and wish we could have been with them, but were thankful to our Jacksonville families for taking us in.) We're excited to start traditions with Justin, but more importantly, we can't wait until he's old enough to understand the signficance of the Easter season...learning that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and then resurrected to new life! We hope and pray that you were able to experience Jesus' love this Easter!
We had fun celebrating Jason's 31st birthday. Kenny and Gina came to spend the weekend; it was fun hanging out with them again! A big thanks to the Collier, Losee, and Fielder families for making J's birthday special.
Once again, I am way behind on updating the blog so I decided to include pics from the last 2 months. We are having so much fun with Justin. He can now sit up (with some help from the boppy), roll all over the room, hold his own bottle, sit up in his high chair, and give Winston lots of love! He also loves to ride in the stroller!
Jason and I are from the beautiful state of Virginia. We went to the same high school but didn't start dating until after we graduated. We were working with the youth group at Hyland Heights Baptist Church and that's where it all began. After an 8 month engagement, we were married on April 20, 2002 and moved to Jacksonville, Florida 2 weeks later. The Lord led us to East Pointe Church, where we were able to plug into another youth group and make some amazing friends. After 5 years of marriage, we welcomed a new addition into our lives...Justin Blake Parsons. He was born on September 4, 2007. Thanks for visiting our blog and sharing in our lives!
