Baby's 1st Christmas-Part 2

We continued our Christmas when Grandma & Grandpa Parsons and Uncle Joe arrived on Christmas Eve. It was great to wake up Christmas morning and share this special time with our family. Justin opened more gifts and had fun taking in all the new sights and sounds. After gifts, it was off to the kitchen for me. For those of you who know me well, you know I don't cook. Well, my gift to everyone was cooking Christmas dinner! I made my first turkey and ham. Justin had fun at dinner playing with a plastic spoon...like everything else, it went right to his mouth. Our Christmas was truly blessed and we praise God for the time we were able to spend with family.

Baby's 1st Christmas

This year was truly an amazing and extra special Christmas! We had the opportunity to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas...our Savior's birth, as we celebrated Justin's 1st Christmas. It was also special because we were able to share the holiday with family and friends. Nana Jones came to stay with us a few weeks and we made some precious memories while she was here. To begin our festivities, we (well, Jason found it!!!) picked out the most beautiful and perfect tree. Even Winston and Nana went along for the ride. Our next adventure took us to have a picture taken with the Harley Santa (we had to get a picture for Papa Jones with Justin and the Harley Davidson's!) And finally we had an early Christmas with Nana, so Justin was able to see what Santa brought him. Nana Jones had to leave early to go see Papa Jones in Kansas because he had to work on Christmas. We truly missed having them here, but were thankful for the time we spent together before Christmas.
